HISTORY OF TRUNK

DESIGN of TRUNK
Classic designs are always simple. We feel trunks with clear ‘straight lines’ but they are made with ‘curves.’ We believe a true luxury comes
from putting curves in straight lines.
유행을 타지 않는 디자인은 언제나 심플합니다. 트렁크는 형태가 명료한 직선으로 느껴 지지만, 모든 부분이 곡선으로 이루어져 있습니다. 럭셔리는 직선 속에 곡선을 담아내는 것 이라고 생각합니다.
An unnecessary cover is a waste of leather and it only makes the trunks heavier. The unique overlap design on top of trunk is the core design. We realized the structure that does not exist by a number of iterative tests.
불필요한 덮개는 가죽을 낭비하고, 가방을 무겁게 만들뿐입니다. 가방 상단에서 포개지는 고유의 디자인은 트렁크의 핵심 디자인입니다. 수 없이 반복된 테스트를 통해 존재하지 않는 구조를 실현시켰습니다.
‘OUTLINES’ designed the buckles for ourselves because of the design completeness. The design of buckles which gives a sense of stability and satisfies both practicality and robusness is the key part and the wit of trunks.
Although it is not visible, the buckle contains magnet. Without the buckle pulling action, the bag was opened with only the gesture to open the bag and open the bag.
아웃라인즈는 디자인 완성도를 위해 버클을 직접 설계하였습 니다. 실용성과 견고함을 동시 에 만족시키며, 디자인적으로 안정감을 줄 수 있는 버클 디자 인은 트렁크의 가장 핵심적인 부분이며 위트입니다. 보이지 않지만 버클에는 자석이 들어가 있습니다. 버클을 푸는 동작 없이도 핸들을 벌려 가방을 열려는 제스처만으로 가방이 열리도록 했습니다.

가방 옆면은 곡선으로 이루어져 있습니다. 아래로 좁아지는 형태는 각진 가방임에도 둔탁해 보이지 않게 만듭니다. 하단도 곡선으로 디자인 되어 있는데, 사용하면서 중심부에 하중이 가해져 가방이 바닥에 닿는 일이 없도록 합니다.
Trunk users want to be free from worries about getting dirty and laptops being damaged. The ‘Floating’ structure always keeps the trunks away from touching the ground and gives a belief that it is safe to put them on the floor.
